Maddness
These might be a really nice gaming option at 1080p.

Ah, rdna2 igpus. AMD finally takes Intel threat seriously.

It's good to see RDNA2 finally being used in APUs.
But I wonder what they are going to do about memory bandwidth.
If they manage to ad 32MB of Infinity cache, it might just give it a huge boost.

yeah glad to finally see this. Vega is just getting too old plus I worry about long-term driver support for it

So the APUs are labeled Zen 3+... so is that an actual normal update to the architecture rather than just slapping on some more cache like Zen 3D? If so why would they do that only for the APU parts?
Either way it's looking like the Zen 3D chips are the last lineup that will include a high-end chip for AM4. So I guess I'm stuck going for that, which should be fine considering it should be more than good enough to ensure the CPU is not a bottleneck at 140 fps for a while.

so they call it rembrandt .....after all the rebrands amd did over the years that one that is not a rebrand ... they call it rembrandt ? :P other than that waiting to see how these puppies perform !
Agonist
A 12 thread 6000 apu would be nice for my HTPC.

What does "mass production" mean by todays standards with all the component shortages and cargo freight problems.

Now these should be amazing and a great way to use that 3D stacked cache for increased CPU and more importantly iGPU bandwidth.
4core 8thread 65W TDP @ 4.2GHz boost w/ 8MB L3 cache / 16MB 3D cache 10CU (10x64= 640 shaders) 1GHz GPU clock @ $249.99/299.99
6core 12thread 65W TDP @ 4.4GHz boost w/ 16MB L3 cache / 32MB 3D cache 14CU (14x64=896 shaders) 1.2GHz GPU clock @ $299.99/349.99
8core 16thread 95W TDP @ 4.6GHz boost w/ 32MB L3 cache / 64MB 3D cache 16CU (16x64=1024 shaders) 1.5GHz GPU clock @ $349.99/399.99
My predictions tell me if I am crazy lol :P Could be pie in the sky though more than likely it is lol :P. With new tech like 3d cache I think pricing will be a massive concern here. Is the 3d cache a replacement or L3 or does it act more like a L4 cache? Is the 3D cache going to be split? or will it be unified and all avaliable to either CPU or iGPU?
Will these support AM4? B4XX series? or locked to B5XX series? Are these going to be AM5 only? Are they going to be at retail or OEM only?

AMD need to put an DDR5 APU with the 52CU APU used in Xbox. It will mop the floor on both CPU & GPU segments.
And we see that Xbox APU already in PCs but with the IGP cut off.
I wonder some times if someone managed to put a proper Xbox APU on that PC
