Did I mention that I HATE Unreal Engine? I have no idea how anyone can praise it, it is awful (from the perspective of gamer\viewer! I heard for developers it is quite good...). True, it can reproduce some (only SOME) beautiful scenery, but that's it, character rendering is just awful - all characters look like plastic figures. This demo goes even further - the splattered blood is also plastic.

So how many "characters" have you rendered in UE vs any other engine? What techniques did you use for texturing? Or is this an educated "it looked plastic in this game so UE sucks" kinda opinion? 🙂
