How about working on your terrible buggy software Logitech. I've been using your products almost solely for over a decade and in the last few years your software has become terrible garbage that stop working and requires restarts to fix on 2 of my PC's that both run different versions of Windows. Your hardware is half as durable as it used to be with buttons that stop working and wear out while you concentrate your efforts on form over function. Get your stuff together Logitech.

Bunch of PR dribble drabble. Companies like LG already make phones, and washing machines. Didn't need an announcement to know Logitech wants to do the same thing to make more money. That said, this risks spreading a company too thin. Don't abandon what you already have "re-imaginings" like this can be the last move a company makes right before they sink. Keep your current base happy, don't sacrifice anything. LG's phones are fantastic, and so are their washing machines...

Great so they bought in new suits and hipsters who are rearranging the furniture and snipped the "tech" from the name. PR rubbish. Who is going to be impressed by that? Release good quality products and software.

lol, why is everyone so bitter? I'd say good for them, it's nice to see refreshes like this. As for me, I bought 2 Logitech devices over these years a mouse and headset and both were rock solid, I still have that mouse in my office - it's clocking like 7th birthday soon and still works like a charm (G5).

The obvious, bad experiences combined with the fact that no one likes gratuitous PR talk. It could have been nearly any company and the responses would have been the same.

Oh I dono, I love a bit of PR talk, make me feel real good about the fact that 1: people buy into it and 2: that the idiots who come up with it get paid millions.

Is that abomination really their new logo? Whoever thought that up and whoever approved it needs to be shown the door. Gimme back my old Logitech logo.

I used logitech mice for like ever. The last being the G5. When it finally pooped out i went looking for a replacement. But to my dismay, logitech mice were now crappy, with a flimsy dual mode mouse wheel. No thank you. I use a ROCCAT Kone XTD now.

Just because you have a bad experience doesn't mean the whole brand is crap... Ive been using Logitech Products for over 10 Years and never had issues with anything. Also their current Gaming Software works really great and never fails on me. The last product that died on me was the G500, which was over 5 years old.

I tried that mouse a couple of months ago, but it had many flaws. - Left Mouse Button double clicked (same with replacement) - Scroll Wheel rolled extremely heavy, nearly stuck so heavy (same with replacement) - The the rubbery grip was too slippery so it was impossible to frequently lift up. - The software works terrible. The only good thing about it was the Size, since i have large hands. But i was lucky enough to find two G500s's brand new in the Box 🙂

Hardware quality has been fine for me thus far and their support has also been good when I need it. Software could be better though. My current Logitech G602 is pretty awesome. I really don't know what they are expecting. They want to be like Beats audio? It just happened to be made by a guy who makes rap allegedly-music and had the marketing connections. Peripherals isn't an exciting industry. They should be making stuff for PC and mobile devices and make profit along the way instead of letting marketing run the company. It never ends well.

Lopitech? Loqitech? Logitech? which is it, that logo doesn't say. Or is it an o with a half o below it? That seems like it, an o with a half o below it. And what's with the eyebrow on it? is that an eyebrow? wtf is that thing? Ok, ok i got it, it's Looitech! with a smiley face underneath one of the o's, with an eyebrow to make sure you know it's a smiley face! i got it now! Say Helloooo, to Looitech!

Well they can start, with reinventing thicker cables, like they used to have. It's shame that i returned G400 after year or so, because the cable got broken, and i used several years old MX518 for RMA period with no problems. "Funny" thing is, that at the box, there is a thick cable pictured, like it was on MX518, not that thin crap. Maybe i should sue them for false advertisement 🙂

...and likewise, just because you managed to have a great experience doesn't mean the whole brand isn't crap. The fact is the durability of their hardware has dropped as the design took precedent. Their software which was once the best in the market has become crashware. Their support staff which was once the most dependable CS I've had the pleasure of dealing with has been diminished. Logitech of 2015 is not Logitech of 2005 anymore. I'm glad you've had nothing but good experiences and don't get me wrong, I'm still a Logitech brand loyalist I'm just a disgruntled one who misses what the brand once was.

The MX518 was probably the best gaming mouse ever sold and they stopped making it. A friend of mine who is a CSGO pro told me that the "pros" have gone back to optical mice because insanely high DPI laser is useless for a CSGO pro who plays at 400 DPI @ 1.6/20 sensitivity or even lower. I still use a MX518 and would buy a new one if i could find one. Why on earth would they stop producing a winning mouse, i know they made a replacement but for some reason it lost it's mojo. Bring back the MX518 @ 30 pound and the mouse will sell itself. And yes the software sucks monkey nads but like the MX518 it still has 3 useful dpi settings that are fine with just the Windows drivers. Most people i know just want a Plug & Play mouse with a few different DPI settings and no BS software to install. Hence one of the reasons MX518 was so successful.

Yeah, it looks terrible.

Why do they capitalize Design? I have rather good experience with this brand. Well, there were some issues with software, but only minor ones - nowhere close to what I have with Razer on 2 of my computers. We'll see what Logitech will look like. We can see only the branding and PR talk now, and it's not enough to discuss the internal change in a meaningful way. I was waiting for G702, so perhaps it'll be released with a new logo?

I guess Logitech didn't learn from Corsair's debacle.. I'm still at a loss why everyone loves logitech so much. If you like plain jane looks with no inspiration, buy logitech. I have a G13 that I love. I've had most of their mice and some keyboards. Their new G910 Spark is a joke! I have Corsair and Razer RGB keyboards and mice now and I like them much better than Logitech's stuff now. They need to stop sticking to old school and get with the program. Fanning out into new territory is just going to bleed them of money, you just watch!

As a brand i love Logitech, and i do understand that sometimes things break. I have had countless mice, 3 keyboards, and 1 headset from them over the years and with that amount of stuff purchased something is going to eventually die: * I broke my MX510 by coiling the cable too tightly when packing to go to a LAN - my own stupid fault. * My Logitech G35 headset stopped working, Logitech RMA'd the headset without question, and even sent me a shipping label so i didnt have to pay to ship it back to them (big points for this, i live in northern Canada and shipping costs a fortune!). got a brand new one sent back as opposed to a repaired / refurbished unit. * I am in the process of RMA'ing my G19S keyboard, same thing as above - starting acting up and logitech are RMA'ing without question and sent me a shipping label. so yes, perhaps their quality control needs to be improved, and perhaps their software needs to be written better. but in all honesty when things have gone bad with them their level of customer care (in my experience at least) has been exemplary. i made a choice to purchase products from another brand ONCE (chose razer - worst mistake of my life!). bought a razer mamba 2012 and a razer vespula mousepad, the mamba broke within 4 months and i had to fight tooth and nail for a replacement, and the vespula wore itself out to the point where both sides were lifting off the plastic base within 12 months. the point I'm trying to make is sure, Logitech aren't perfect - but when you compare them to other peripheral manufacturers they do extremely well.

Logitech are my go to brand for peripherals. Mice, keyboards, steering wheels... I love their products. I hope they don't change it up too much. That would be a shame.
