zen3+ isn't happening, the next release is zen4. what Lisa showed today was technology demonstration prototype and not a sample of whats to come later this year.

TPU doesn't have any more of a clue than a leaker. Zen3+ desktop isn't happening because theres no fab time available and AMD hasn't finished providing Zen 3 volume to microsoft/sony. Rembrandt will be for BGA low power devices and the first time an apu is ahead of desktop for cpu feature set.

all those comments praising fanless design..obviously people who either had a faulty product or no idea how hot X570 is mine is at 70+°C all the time in use, that's the temp of the whole PCH area without an active fan, your motherboard is constantly burning "best idea ever" I could barely hear the fan on my MSi TRX40 creator and at least it kept the chipset around 60

Reminds me of my old Classified E760, which ran at over 80C with passive cooling. Ended up watercooling it.

They were not. The 2700x was quite a bottleneck actually. And I hated that MSI X470. I gained 20fps avg/min FPS in many titles. And pushes my 6800xt like it should be.

Becouse you upgraded the gpu. With 5700xt it was fine.

Honestly it was decently fine. There were times the 5700xt was a bit above the ceiling of the 2700x. I am on a 144hz panel. And in some older games, the 2700x didnt feed the 5700xt enough to reach that. 2700x is still a damn good cpu for what it is age wise and price wise. But the 5700xt was struggling in alot of new games on this monitor. So I took the chance to upgrade when I could. I dont regret it. Even if I have this cpu for only a year, it will go in my console killer HTPC. Which it will last there for years.
