I looked at previous Tiamats, but reviews were quite dissapointing, so I skipped them (having true analog surround 5.1 headphones from Speedlink). I no longer require such headphones, but am still interested in details, as frankly I can't stand virtual surround. Period. Either Stereo - or true surround. Wonder how these will play... and the price is quite Razerish... P.S. My dream is for some uber-surround-headphones with position adjustable drivers - so that players can adjust everything to their ears =)

Sounds cool, I like the control hub features. I just wish it wasn't Razer. I have always had terrible luck with every product I have bought from them so I'll probably avoid this unless the reviews are amazing.

Ah yes. So many years later, another player. I remember my old Zalman 5.1 with preamplifier to fix the Damned sound laster lower voltage rear outs. What a headset that was.

I have the original Tiamat. I was specifically looking for a 7.1 analog headset. Since my PC has good 7.1 output, I don't want any USB headsets that bring essentially their own audio chip. It's good to see that Razer keep supporting that.
