X4 as many NVidia on the same segment (despite physical X16... NVidia even use X1 sometime) and only X8 in a lot of middle segment too in both red and green...
It's not a problem in itself if it fit the needed bandwith 🙂

4.0 x4 might be fine, but I wonder if 3.0 x4 is still fine, as quite a bunch of systems are not on 4.0 yet.

We know that PCIe 4.0 x4 is a bottleneck in CS:GO:

But in this test, it's the cpu that has this limitation. 6500XT has limitation on GPU side. I wonder if that also will be a bottleneck.
AMD is guilty until proven otherwise 😉

Based on the specs, that card indeed should cost no more than roughly 199 euros, even under the current circumstances. 64 bits bus? That's just hilarious.
I suppose the card will, though, end up in the so called gaming PCs sold by small, third party sellers on Ebay and other Internet marketplaces.

If the pricing was normal the 3050 nullifies the reason for existence that this card has. It will still sell just because it's terrible and it might be possible to find it.

questionable = Pixel Rate 90.08 GPixel/ Texture Rate 180.2 GTexel/s is it true?

300 euro rumored actual price. Yay.
It'll be interesting to see how the performance stacks up. It should be better than a RX480/GTX 1060 in order to make sense. Considering its target is the 1650, though, and that sits at like 30% less than a 480/1060... I guess it's just another bump in price - even if it costs 199$ or €, AND manages to match those two cards in performance per their "it's this much faster than a 1650" slide.
Since none of those two are met, we'll just have to pay 50% more than what those cards launched for 5 years ago and get slightly worse performance.

what a trash product.

More than 150€ for this is a waste of money.

This might ride the line of bad enough to be good but not so much that it could get scalped too high. It's horrible but I kinda want some disappointing releases so there are some actual on the shelf choices out there under half a kidney. However, performance results will be the deciding factor for me.

I'm liking that this is a single-slot card. Besides price (which this GPU is terrible at), the main benefit of low-end cards is that they don't need a lot of cooling and can be used in more compact builds. I always find it stupid when you have a product like this taking up 2 slots when it's under 75W. You can easily (albeit, not silently) dissipate 150W in a single slot, so I don't get why these low-power cards always take up so much space. A true ITX build needs single-slot cards.
Nah, I agree with kapu on this:
I agree with all of this. If it were $100, I think it'd be perfectly fine for what it is. At its current price, I'd rather get a 3050.

and it's actually 300 in store.
everyone sees this is a turd.
yes on 4.0,not on 3.0.imagine an rx580 running pci-e 3.0 x4 not 16x
I've already explained it to you once.32mb will barely work even at 1080p

vast majority crying about this gpu wont buy it. acting like its supposed to be as fast as a 5600xt or something. pure clown talk.
look at performance of rx 550 or rx 5500.
