meanwhile,on hardware unboxed they're testing games on medium to cover this up really,this is below even their standards. they're doing everything to make it par with 5500xt 4G so that it doesn't seem like the successor is slower,and they still came up 2 fps short on average.

And he is saying it performs worse than the 5500XT and the 590. And let´s be honest, no one buying a low end gpu is going to play at ultra settings. So it makes sense to benchmark with medium settings. But he did something very important, that shows this card being even worse, by running it in PCI-e Gen3 With Gen3, this card gets beaten by almost everything that was in the market in the last half decade or so.

everyone knew that who read 5500xt review 2 years ago,the card took a hit even from 8 lanes.In 10-15% range at times. that's why going down to 4 is just an amazing decision. it's just funny how hub could not save it from being slower than 5500xt 4G,despite the efforts.

Exactly. And that was one of the main focus on HU review. They are trashing the card for the same reasons we are saying here.
