Oh sorry didn't know that. I live the US so anything other then USD I don't really understand. I know I can get a GTX 980 for under $550 which isn't back to me.

It's possible, imo, that this is more about HP letting their customers have access to the top cards from AMD/nVidia that will work with the units PSU, 12v rails, and two six pin PEG connectors. What's good news is that HP is shipping those units with a UEFI that supports the upcoming AMD cards. I know from experience that vendors like Dell are iffy about posting updates to ensure compatibility with newer cards. It seems largely up to nVidia and AMD to ensure their cards work with older Dells. The GTX 9xx series was a nightmare for Dell XPS 8700 owners. Ironically those cards worked immediately with several older Dells. Finally nVidia and Dell were able to work out an update for the Dells. AMD 29x's don't work lots of older Dells. I guess my point is that while this is an interesting piece of real information, and we're starved for those, the configuration of these kinds of PC's follows a logic unique to the company making them. Edit: I just now realize that HP already being ready for the 380 could mean that it's a rebrand. Then again, if it's Tonga based, like one and a half times an AMD R9 285, then possibly nothing needs to be updated on HP's end. The real question, I guess, is whether or not HP has 380's to play with. 🙂

99% of the time, HP uses a rebranded or stripped down version, so i asume 380 is based on "Tahiti" or perhaps "Tonga" with some tweakes
