What is it you didn't like about the way they handled the first one? Especially if you haven't touched it? Was it the crowd funding aspect? You guys do realise that most development on sequels start as soon as the first one is out of the door if not sooner. Are software companies meant to lay everybody off for year or two after they release a product? If it wasn't for the crowd funding side of things you probably wouldn't even know PCARS 2 existed, like most other sequels.

Now that they have a game studio behind them, they still want make the second by crossfunding ? Im a bit surprised.

yes they will contininue to support it. There is still some DLCs that are not out yet, and they are working on other patches too that will fix bugs +add more features

ive got project cars its been patched about 1 week ago and some dlc cars where added i buy the the dlc cars theres some nice cars in the dlc i love the game,the performace and graphics weather effects all very nice , this is best racing game ive played to date so good luck to them with project cars 2

Because of Project Cars 1 i switched from AMD to Nvidia to play it without fps drops and max settings. The Game don´t look so good as on screenshots. The Cars are ok but enviroment its really a no go. I played all forza motorsports over 600 hours together, on steam it show me 5 hours play time at Project Cars. It´s sooo boring and i won´t play it anymore. Its not a race simulator its a cart simulator 😀 Online i can´t get a lobby full, only 1-4 people if waiting more then people leave and everyone take the same cars. They don´t see 1 cent from me in future.

Because I followed what was going on with it the past couple years. That and a year and a half of shutting all but the original group out of testing or even joining the site. Why would I want to play a game that is full of people that have had first hand experience with it for several years. So I can be fodder? They wanted to make it an exclusive "club" and as far as I am concerned they can keep it. I, as well as many others, lost interest in it long ago and I doubt anything could change my view of them any time soon. And just so you know, I own just about every other race sim going back many years. I love to sim race and it's one of my favorite forms of gaming. It's not so much about getting to beta it either as that is something for a select few for most games, but to not even be allowed to join the site to stay in touch with things as they progressed really set me back and turned me off to wanting anything to do with it. Also, it was anything but a select few, like most betas. Look at how early access is done now and compare it to what they did.. Pretty much sums it up. Your on the complete opposite side as I am concerning the game and I get you not wanting any bad press due to your investment, but the "I'm with stupid" emo was a bit over the top. All you had to do was ask why feel the way I do.. Your attitude regarding outsiders to the game was one of the main reasons I dislike the game and it's original community. Many of us inquired about the game and getting involved only to be met with insults and stfu's when we tried to contact anyone regarding the game or getting involved. Like I said, exclusive club.. While I hope you get a return on your investment, none of it will be coming from me at this point.

I take it you didn't read read what you wrote before you posted? You might know how game development works but with all the, "why are they starting on pcars 2 already?" type posts over the inter-web I'm guessing the VAST majority do not. ... yet they are taking money from gamers again... what at gun point? These gamers, which I'm guessing you consider yourself to be, are being dragged down to the nearest cash point, (ATM), by their goolies and forced to give over their life savings. hahahaha I don't know about me amusing you but you're making me laugh 🙂 A lot of people, from WMD asked for a way to be involved in pcars 2, as did a lot who missed the boat with pcars 1, which is one of the many reasons this method of funding was decided upon. If none of the £10k perks interest you, don't get it. Same if people think £50 is too much and more importantly if they have no interest in actively helping with development, don't get involved. As for where this money goes... hang on I thought you said you knew about games development?
