Maximus VII Hero has three PCIe slots with 40 lanes, eh? I think we will need to see the final specs on that one. I am not seeing a PLX chip even for fake 40.

Cool I was wondering if ASUS would be releasing Haswell Refresh boards. Maybe in a couple of weeks they will release more information on The Gryphon board because it is the board I am interested in purchasing when I upgrade.

I hope they make a MAXIMUS VII FORMULA sometime soon.
