It's obviously not the highend beast most people want but if someone didn't yet upgrade to a 780 series I can definitely see these being an awesome pick up.
That being said, I'm not getting one.

Stock 780GTX is still stronger, that 880GTX doesn't look that special either, probably end up between 780GTX and 780Ti.

Hmm I wonder how overclockable these cards will be? Pretty interesting specs though.
It will be interesting to see what AMD comes out with.

Should always take these with a large grain of salt. Maybe they will have much higher clocks, if the 750 Ti is any indication with it's low power and low heat.
Probably won't be a big deal for people that already own $400+ video cards, but if the price is right, and it's looking like it might be, then it should be an awesome buy for a lot of people.

It's impressive for the TDP, but I doubt that's a big deal for the majority of people buying cards like these.

no 3200 cores on the 880 like was posted front page last WEEK?
SLI-756
the 880 will kill every 700 series easily anyways, 880ti will be nice, real 680 in 2015.

imo yes it will, cause no.1 it's using Maxwell cores like the lil devil itself the 750ti.
880 will outdo 780ti with ease.

was expecting a higher cuda core count. 256 bit at 7ghz is on 224gb/s bandwidth too. Hopefully this is just more fud and not the real specs.

with a mild OC you're at 8000mhz on the ram, a full 30% faster than 680 stock speed.
no doubt folks will go beyond 8000mhz, now couple this with high end Maxwell card like this is and it's a winner with not a single bottleneck in sight.
the 880 classified I don't even wanna ..

Nah I dont think it will go over 8000 on the vrams, maybe on a select few samples. You do not see many 770`s or 780 ti go over 8000. Mine can go to about 7770.

ah I thought they were clocked around 7400 I see the OP now.
anything over 7500 would be nice, with one of my current it's stuck around 6800, at least when it gets filled up and stressed(the non-ftw one). ftw one has Sammy, other has Hynix.

yes because 512 bus vram is lightning fast eh? twice the speed of 256 eh? 😀
the speed the ram runs at is what counts, just like system ram /timings.
haha
