This game hardly needs a remaster... sure, it's graphics are a bit dated but they're still decent. If a remaster were to be done, it should include everything from MW2 too. I still think that game should've been an expansion pack, since the vast majority of it's content was recycled.

So we get the year on year 'new' COD game alongside the year on year remastered version of a ten year old game. Which means in 10 years times they can just stop releasing 'new' COD and just keep remastering the COD that was released ten years ago.

There was another leak on it for the PS4, which kind of sucks though...
The Remaster is only in the collector/legacy edition and will only include 10 MP maps. There has been no talk on any SP Availability.
The Collector/Legacy edition is $110. The normal is $80(Wtf?)
COD4 is the one COD game I play still. To me it is the best in the series, and has not been taken over. It has the best competition, the best maps, it's not ridiculous with perks, and the best part about it is it's dedicated hosting on PC. Tons of people still play it.

(It does state there's both a campaign and MP for the remaster but it's only ten maps for MP.)
(Wonder if you can still "correct" the aim during the sniper sequence so you visibly hit the head of that dude, though you still get the "Looks like it hit the arm." speech even so. :P )

Yeah that was such nonsense. I remember repeating it for the same result, how hard would it have been to make a fake gunshot, bomb blast or gust of wind to knock off your aim as soon as you click

I really would like to see Call of Duty 2 remaster. Just love this part. CoD4 is good but too... modern for me. ;-)

COD4 was an awesome game and still is.. last great COD that featured Dedicated servers. It was all downhill from there.
Many people argue that MW2 was better, but the lack of dedicated servers makes it worse than MW. The end.
COD 1 and 2 are also great games, but as far as outright graphics, gameplay and performance, MW was the best.

I just want a 75% off Steam sale so I can finally buy 1, 2, and 4 and get rid of my disk copies. No doubt they will sell this remaster for $60 because it's Activision.
