12 GB of RAM ! damn ……….never used my phone for more than calling ,texting ,email , viber ,pictures all of which don't require that ram ! We laptops for complex stuff and big fat pcs for other lovely activities !

One+ 6T mclaren have 10GB ram so this 12GB ram on 10+ is just to beat them. Its not useful and unnecessary.

Probably the System uses 4GB + 2GB of Samsung bloatware but there still are 6GB left. The 1TB internal storage is just overkill to boost the device price.

I agree... I'm not the typical smartphone user (I bought a "low" spec phone for it's 5Ah battery, Lenovo P2), but even I have a hard time imagining why an android system needs 12GB of RAM, and also these days people are slaves to cloud storage more than anything...
So please, I'd be willing to let somebody teach me what to use such a phone for 🙂

If you record a lot of video (as I occasionally do), having 1TB of storage can be really handy. 4K or even 1080p video fills a 128 GB SD card up pretty damned quick...

Sure......if the 10+ has a price tag of $800 then this will be a disaster for any and all cell phone manufacturers.
Now if the price tag is over that then i will go as far as saying these cell phones have been pushed to newer more sickening heights than that of a crack head needing their daily fix!!!
If people would just stop buying for one solid iteration on these sorry incremental upgrades they release for us consumers these overblown products would cease to exist.
Can't imagine @60fps as i only record in 30 ATM....

I've been a Samsung loyalist for a long time but recently became dissatisfied with their phones. The battery on both my S6 and current S8+ expanded, pushing off the back plate. I've also experienced OLED burn-in on both phones, which is also disconcerting. Not sure if I want to give the S10 a chance. Maybe it's just the way I use my phone (I'm a heavy user, keeping the screen on most of the time and using it heavily while charging) but I'm thinking of switching to a different brand next time around.

4K is the worse culprit, an hour of footage is... a lot.
Probably xD The main thing I look for with phones is a good photo/video camera, battery life, and a decent screen. Most other stuff is secondary.

With 32gb internal and 128 MSD card I still was unable to fill up both on Florida trip for 12 days. I guess at 60fps 4k and added filters or whatever the video will be seriously huge. Guess that 1tb storage will be necessary as i take photos now that are almost 30Mb large....
I refuse to use the phone if there is an imposed limit on the time. My wife's S7 does that and I had hoped that they would do away with that by now.
My ever so aging Lumia 950XL allows you to record until the phone either dies or needs to literally "cool off!"
Can't imagine being right at the limit of the capture shtuff to only have it end abruptly right before the proverbial money shot!

thus the model is pretty limited which most likely available in s.korea and some limited countries
imo 512gb is reasonable enough for phone that can do 4k video recording capabilities
if only 64gb, its like u giving "limited feature" rather full-feature
for me i personally think expanding storage+ram to much bigger one is more resonable
as most smartphone nowdays is like main-personal-device, u carry it with u most of time, it hold ur things, games-musics-pics etc.
if we compare to then trend "all-display-screen"
i dont think most user asking for it, it is cool okay, but i find it not practical
watching vids or playing games with those camera-hole even it just on the edge
