Pairing something like this with 4800x would be a dream.

Well, Patriots own Viper Steel 4400 19-19-19-39 eats them :P. B-die, good bin, runs tight 4100Mhz 15-15-15-31 here. Can do 3900c14 too 🙂. Can run them on spec too(4400 that is) but 4100 is faster in games. 36ns latency 🙂 and 4400 sometimes has issues with boot. Z370 so...official support was max 4266Mhz for my MB. OFC better motherboard/CPU would my results be better, saw same sets running 4700 c17 or so.

I wish more RAM would get better trimmed on Latency. I don't like going over CL15 on any RAM tbh.

The problem is they have to make RAM to work many MB and cpu's. That's why they are pretty "conservative" with the timings. We are running binned Patriot Viper 4400c19 @ 4700c17-17-17-1t tweaked on Intel 10900k and 8086. Both Asus Apex boards z490 and z390. So if you want faster than stock, you have to do it yourself 😀 ~33ns memorylatency and ~72-73GB/s read. So you don't need under CL15 to get low memorylatency 😉
