Wait they pushed Geforce Experience 3 out of beta already? The beta was so buggy it was practically unusable for me, even after multiple re-installs.

As long as driver updates don't become sign-up mandatory all is good I suppose.
I personally have no use for the other stuff.
That said, the whole thing plainly asks to become a collection of throw-away trash emails/accounts. :3eyes:

Why anyone would create Google account in the first place to track you around the internet is beyond me...
Anyway, as someone asked, yeah its still a Beta. Looks like its even faster than the previous beta. Huge improvement over the old software.

DDU manual driver updating is way to go.
Shadowplay, Game Stream? There is better software for that purpose and free too, like OBS.

I avoid creating an account for every little company or site that demands it. Can't be bothered with the security risk or the trouble of creating another unique password. I'll gladly go without whatever "advantages" they've walled behind the nvidia account. For now it seems to allow google id, who knows when they'll insist on an nvidia id.

Why they would chose to do this is beyond me. More precise data gathering for future product development? Just creepy? Razer is the only other company I know that requires this, and they aren't exactly the hallmark of a well-preserved brand.

Glad I came across Guru3d long time ago, will be primary source for drivers as it was for ages and whatever nonsense team green or red comes up with forums will deliver a solution, so thanks team blue 🙂

Why anyone would buy an Intel processor with an active management engine that can contact the internet even while the computer is turned off and has file level access to every drive?
It's obviously metric gathering.

GFE 3.x is not yet tested / added with DDU.
So expect left over.

Never used GeForce Experience never will..but wasn't the plan to only allow driver updates through GeForce Experience eventually?

I thought it was just the GameReady drivers.
I haven't had any issues with it. I use it for game streaming to my Shield console. The only problem I have with it is the recommended settings for games is usually way off from what I would play them at. But its nice being notified when a new driver is available to download so I don't have to troll these forums all day.

Not too concerned because I'm always logged in. The fact that you are now forced to log in is what concerns me.
I hope not. They need to fix the high cpu usage and laggy interface first among other issues.

Hopefully they fixed the Google account login with 2 step verification because it never seems to work.

In the beta this is fixed (this annoyed me too with previous versions).
