Since when does DLSS stand for “dynamic light scrubbing” rather than “deep learning super sampling”?

Ha ha.. yes I noticed that... strange - wonder who wrote that.

so... $200/year for a simulated rtx 3080 given the current gpu pricing not too bad a scheme, but i just hope to hell that the games supported are worth that. on the flippity-flop, you can build a new rig sans gpu or folks with really old gpu's that like the supported games wouldn't need to worry about the price of an rtx 3080 vs. $200/ year. just thinking...but the interest on a credit card purchase of an rtx 3080 may well equal the subscription...

IMO anyone stupid enough to buy an extremely overpriced GPU with money they don't actually have themselves deserves everything they get in terms of being screwed.

lol but the ecosystem has been in place for decades. in America the financial services industry since the 1960's has taken an ever larger slice from the (financially) gullible in a consumption economy. they for the large part don't understand what risk is exactly anyways. they just want what is "theirs" in a consumption (aka "Consumer") economy built on the "future promise" of rising income despite inequality. yes it's dumb, but to a nation raised on the "American Dream" mythology it's understandable. there's a TV commercial (advert) for a company that rakes the desperate over coals... their tag-line? "It's my money and i want it now!". this is despicable because these are the winners of compensation from both jury trials and settlements. their lawyers already took 20-25% off the top for contingency arrangements and these are not typically either well off or well informed folks. and they often suffer from grievous injuries that affect their remaining life. but they hear "it's my money and i want it now!" and lose.

LMAO. 200e year for virtual GPU . And just few years back 200eur granted you mid range gpu that could run anything. Things went to shit obviously. Hey Nvidia can i mine eth on GeForce now? For 200e/y it makes sense. Otherwise stick you service deep in to your a$$
