And here is why i will buy a rx480 next month(msi of xfx? ) , the thing's nvidia are doing lately are just to shady , i don't care all they want is to colect data about what setings and what games you play on what hardware , it's still personal data , the only reasson i stoped to even instal gforce experience with my gtx950 , and like Hilbert said , this wont go well with the EU

Intel, nvidia and microsoft dominated marked last years, and that why they could do what whey want, but at least amd trying do competition on procesor, gpu market. We need windows alternative. I wish ReactOS could speed their development..

Another company going corrupt, if I by a piece of hardware like a graphics card, and get a free game, it is up to me want I want to do with it, I should not be forced into installing bloatware, I have no need for Nvidia crappy GFE. I'am getting a 1070 in the next week, and I know it comes with a choice of the 2 free games, which I'm actually not interested in, and when I get asked to choose i will say to the guy you have it.

Dicks, data collection aside, in the past I had games that were bundled that I already owned and gave away to friends (never sold). So from now on if it happens again I'm supposed to just throw away that code? Sigh...

So if you upgrade your video card, you lose access to the game? That would be awful.

Maybe the game is tied to your account and not to specific videocard.

Not true at all. Or are you speaking of only for this bundle? because the way you've worded it you make it sound like we are forced to install it when installing drivers, which is not the case at all. If I want to use GFE I already have all the telemetry disabled and have an old version where I do not need to log in and it retains all it's functionality
I don't agree with this practice, however they are a business and of course they are going to try and find ways to make you use their software.

Im like many others here ,i don't use GFE and haven't for a long time , i also block or remove their telemetry , at the end of the day ,if you get a free game that's it's it free and you should be able to do with as you see fit.
I have a feeling that one day the GFE will become some kind of a DRM system and they will also be selling there own sponsored games ..
If i was in the market for a new graphics card i would different be considering AMD when there new releases come out, it's time to vote with our wallets and teach Nvidia a lesson guys..

To be fair, GFE is anything but crappy. Sure the game optimisation is crap as it usually changes my settings to NON optimal settings, the opposite of what it is supposed to do. However, Shadowplay is amazing. But hey if you want to use obsolete FRAPs feel free 🙂

No. You just need the card when you activate the serial via webportal. Afterwards it's permanently tied to your steam/uplay/etc account.

microsoft set the stage for this with windows 10 in alliance with google they are basically hackers with goverment approval and theres lot of dirty money involved the finacial rewards for this are unbelivable my opinion the money is so big nvidia cant resist it even they know some customers will be upset

One additional reason to stick with AMD (Vega) when will be released!! This starts to become (slowly but steady) more or less "dictatorial" and is up to us to accept it or not (but the way people http://img.pathfinder.gr/CMAN/f/3309/I4193606/sheepgif.gif minds evolve lately I do not wonder not many of them sees it). One way to fight against it is to tell them to SHAVE IT...and buy competition products.

Could you please benchmark a few big games like GTA 5, The Witcher 3, The Division running on a system with GFE enabled VS no-GFE and all the telemetry disabled?
That would be awesome cause right now I use GFE and maybe its better to uninstall it like many of you guys!
PS: I don't care about privacy stuff, cause its 2017 and the Internet Gods (NSA, CIA, DEA, FBI, (insert 3 letters agencies here!)...) knows what we are doing already
