The card makers were given a choice - stay in limits or offer warranty by yourselves. As you can see, even so-called cards for overclockers were limited.

It would have been nice if nvidia told their AIC partners this before they spent their R&D and production making these cards and false advertising to their consumers. nvidia gave it partners a black eye.

Funny they also maybe gave other lower tier partners a chance to sell some cards since they are all the same now,besides coolers....no reason to spend extra for a 3 yr warrenty card built like a tank. Brands with lifetime warrenty's like pny should pick up sales,should be the go to card for the plug and play crowd.

True, you know soon nvidia will make only one geforce card - it'll have a small switch on top though unlocking more juice as it travels, the more expensive the card the more the switch travels. I suggest naming it 'Nvidia GTX ManBearPig'.
