Still have this issue on my 3070 when using DisplayPort. The previous fix only targeted 3080 and 3090 I think, and this one works for 4080 and 4090, no idea why 3070 is left out.

Do check https://www.techpowerup.com/vgabios/ including unverified uploads. I had that problem with my 3080ti. It took about 2 months of negotiating with Gigabyte support for them to send me a fixed BIOS. But by then, somebody had already uploaded a new BIOS for my card. Gigabyte were shipping cards with the fixed BIOS but didn't also make it available on their website for some reason. 🙄

Thanks for the advice but apparently my BIOS is even newer than what's available on techpowerup, guess I need to badger Gigabyte support as well.

Ok tell me I am not stupid. Just got my MSI 4080 and there is no display when windows 11 boots If I update using an "alternative" graphic card, my 3080ti will this mess up the 3080ti?

this issue only occurs until windows loads drivers, if windows remains black screen your card is not working.

I did patch my 4090 FE and the problem is only half fixed. Running ASUS Strix Z790 (latest 0813 BIOS) and 13h gen Intel CPU. On a cold start the screen is till black until Windows 11 logon is loaded. If i soft reboot the system from Windows 11, i get normal (hi resolution) screen output (enter bios promt, ...). Before the Nvidia patch, it was always black, reboot or not. At least on my system, it is still a problem. But even when i get an output after soft reboots and i switch monitor inputs or turn my monitor off, the picture never comes back. I can fix it with CSM but thats not a real solution. All the news on the interwebs tell the same story: Nvidia fixed the problem. Am i rly the only one still got issues? Did i miss something?

Only had this issue when 2 monitors plugged into the card. Unplugged the 2nd monitor and connected it to the IGP port and that resolve it for me.

My 4070 Ti has this as well sometimes, maybe once every 3 weeks. I see the Windows logo with the loading circle and then just before the login screen it stays black. I then have to shut down, turn off the power brick and start again. A simple press on the reset button does not fix it.
