Im waiting for the GTX 980Ti before I sell my 780's
-Tj-
I got my 780 rather cheap back then ~320€, dont regret it now that I see how it stacks against 970/980... Probably won't bother with initial GM200 or at least wait until it drops €€€ a bit.
Im planing to stick @ 1080p for a while and this OC'ed 780 is enough for that. 🤓

This would be a nice upgrade but I think I'm just going to wait for Skylake and do it all at once.

i imagine -Tj-could beat you minimum frames in monster hunter rather easily, that goes for any 980 out there.
just sayin, personally the 6gb 780s are very tempting right now.
-Tj-
other games, eg. OC'ed 1200mhz+ it surpasses stock 780Ti speeds.
:bang::bang: lol 😀
Dont get me started.
So now that you have 980gtx you had to defend your purchase, yes I would too if I'd payed 500€+ for slight perf. increase..
I mentioned Oc'ed and yeah I've seen what it does e.g. Monster Hunter Online, tigermoth
This type of news will never ever end, there will allways be the next new gpu next new gpu next new gpu next new gpu next new gpu next new gpu next new gpu next new gpu next new gpu next new gpu next new gpu ..............Infinity......................

pricing is important, would be nice to see the titan blacks taking a big reduction to clear out the old stock. if this leads the way to some kinda 980ti then great. (6gb vram would be peachy)
I'd say titan2 - £800, knocking titanB down to 550 -600.

the same way you you keep defending your "old" card 🙄
S#!%, what you want ME to say. i running a 750ti right now 😛uke2:
well, at least enough for rivals/F1/Hawx 2 until some new stuff is out...

Right, I dont mind if its now "slow" @ stock, I didnt pay much in the first place 🙂
He just got upset, because I said mine now old high-end if OC'ed can almost reach his speeds, by some games even surpasses min fps.
Anyway, back on topic; I think normal GF variant won't be more then 500-600$/€, it kinda always was no?
When both release its next-gen AMD 380x, nvidia this GF 1080Ti?, then all current top 290x/780Ti & 980gtx will drop to 300-350€/$ for sure.
But I saw some news about Maxwell Double Precision not so long ago, it said there won't be any DP with Maxwell like by Kepler GK110 Titan models.
While they skip DP, it will save power for other gpu parts e.g. more FP32 FPUs and higher clocks.

I will upgrade when the performance of one card can out perform my 2x GTX780s
Fender178
Sounds interesting but I will not upgrade my GPU for at least 2-3 years or stick another 290 in there if I so desire to but I really do not want to deal with the burden of having 2 cards though.
