Think typo x600 for 690. Lol

Would be a worthy upgrade from GTX480.
A GeForce GTX 680 normally scores roughly X3250~3300 points, the dual GPU GeForce GTX 690 roughly X600 and the ASUS ARES II (dual-GPU) we recently tested scores X6300
That is missing some number ?

Sweet momma! Over in Asia an Asian guy apparently has been able to test a GeForce Titan 780 (which we assume it will be called). The upcoming flagship GPU scored an amazing X7107 points in 3DMark 11. ...
Imagine the odds!! :P

Yes. Yes! Remember that picture a while back that showed the awesome increase from 600 to 700 series? It might be true.

if this info is genuine then GK110 will be a kick-a** chip. Hope this is true, and upgrading my 680 will be justified :P

Gief tuu in SLI, nau! I definitely wait for die shrink. This is has to be large, noisy and use a lot of power.

it's probably a power show-time from nvidia to rivals...and customers:):infinity: if this is legit, then we can call a new high era for geforce...:pc1: 🤓:3eyes: titan is the new line up of top end and gtx mainstream for the poor...

This is insane and it's far from real, just think about it. It would either cost 1500/2000$ or this is just fake, plain and simple. I don't even get why guru3d made a news about this. There's no way Nvidia would give us such powerful card with such performance difference from the 600 series. No company would do such a jump, simply because isn't profitable enough.

What was the CPU/Combined X-score you got with Ares? Pretty far from this I would imagine.. The GPU score is the only score one can compare between so different rigs and OC, barely.. Since this was supposed to make about 85% of an GTX690, I believe I smell some bad fish from this bench, or atleast some dryice/LN2 :P

Actually our processor used is in that article pretty much on par with 2600K performance. But the X score is not that CPU tied though. Dunno what to make about these scores, but admittedly it is mighty interesting.

What are your bases for THAT?

The Titan isn't gonna be a geforce 'GTX', so therefore it ain't gonna be the next 780, i'd imagine the fella has OCed his Titan for benchmarking and those are the results we are seeing.

Its possible effectively, no AA, no AF, all quality setting down and if the card is constrain by TDP on default clock.. but overclocked, this can change all. I will like if it is true it will be excellent. But, as allways... - Does the guy have got a 3Dmark 11 systeminfo update for get the card recognized ? - The half "GT" we see after "Nvidia Geforce" look to imply a "GTX" the text is too short behind it for be a GTX "Titan".. so is left the question if it is a GTX 780 covered in black or if it is a fake a GTX 680 SLI or 690 ? - And last thing, why erase the date ( last line ) ? @Noisiv, you have been faster lol, zoom on the text and you will even see the T ( you see the upper bar )

It doesn't make sense that with less than 2X the cores and likely lower clocks, this would score more than double a GTX 680.

The Titan may be <15% on the 690, however with max OC applied perhaps it could beat even a highly OCed 690 due to the Titan being a single chip. The Titan will be the new 690 imo, perhaps there won't be any 700 series dual gpu cards. Titan end of feb, 780 end of june very latest :P

A new rumor/info say AMD and Nvidia ( both ) have postponed their next GPU to Q4 2013.
sources SweClockers state that both AMD and Nvidia decided to postpone the next generation of video cards. The new circuits can be "at best" pop up in the fourth quarter of 2013, ie in the period October-december. This could mean, for example, the Radeon HD 7970 has time to fill two years before a proper replacement can find on the market.
http://www.sweclockers.com/nyhet/16480-nasta-generation-geforce-och-radeon-skjuts-upp-till-q4-2013 Absolutely no idea if this is true or not. ( its a little bit surprising, specially after the annonce made by both brand on their financial days some weeks ago ) And even more surprising as nvidia could so decline a lineup from the GK110.. ( remove 2 and 4 SMX and release them as 780-770-760TI )

Yep but looking at these numbers the first question is what game is gonna get use outta this kinda gpu power now and even into near future, apart from Crysis 3 of course.
