Nice score. Too bad the price is ridiculously high.

don't worry if those come out of the same foundries the 4090 comes out from you won't see any until august 2023 or like the current 4090 they will make a handful only to lie "see we're making them" and then continue their entreprise 36'000$ monsters for china only in America do you ban a product from being sold then let the company dedicate all it's strength to selling as many as they can

Nvidia did the impossible, they reverted the price/performance ratio on weaker cards!... 😱:(

Jacketman says we'll pay for every percent of performance increase and then some. He wants DLSS3 on for the company margins, we'll see if it works out 🙄.

We don't care Time Spy - FP16 performance because new GeForce RTX 40 doesn't increase FP16:FP32 from 1:1 to 2:1. But we recommend important RT (ray-tracing) tests (eg: Royal Port or newer big 3DMark test...).

4090 availability isn't an issue, plenty available in the UK at various etailers.

1700e for this? Its just a bit faster than a 6900xt with OC.
But does your connector melt? This one is blazing fast

None available most places, including denmark. You probably just have alot of unbought cards in uk, due to the country's current financial situation, meaning fewer have the money for such things...

In Portugal there are some cards in stock.

Well, yes. They are sold out in the countries that usually buy alot of highend hardware. One can wonder why they didn't allocate more stock for said countries.

Those who can afford £2200 for a GPU ate not effected by anything being reported in the press. Yes utilities are more expensive bit that's the same for the whole of Europe. I was back in the UK two weeks ago and the pubs, clubs, restaurants and shops were as packed as I've ever seen them.

No need for the smarmy comment. It's universally agreed that Nvidia's pricing has been crap since at least the 3000 series.

But he is correct, there's to many people who fail to grasp the facts that everything in the world is considerably more expensive than it was a couple of years ago, and I mean things that are actually important. High end gaming isn't a right, it's a luxery and for those that can afford it well done, either you earnt the money, borrowed or stole the money or sold your child's kidney, either way it is what it is.

My RTX 3080 cost £749. The RTX 4080 is slated to cost £1,270 (but more likely to be in excess of £1,300), which is far, far too much for me. There was a time when each new generation of graphics card came with the expected 20-30% performance increase over the last but now it seems you have to pay for that...

I'd argue it started with the RTX 2xxx series of cards but back then they had least had the excuse that they were offering exciting new technology in the form of ray-tracing. Since then each new generation of RTX cards from NVIDIA has just added 50% on top of what went before such that the X080 cards now cost in excess of £1,200! I remember paying £600 for a GTX 1080 then £700 for a GTX 1080 Ti. I was lucky enough to get my RTX 3080 at a good price on Amazon but I fear it may my last high-end graphics card purchase as NVIDIA are just pricing these things through the roof and to the moon!

Where did prices of 4080 come from? No way they'll be able to charge that much for 4080, when the new AMD cards are 300-400 cheaper than that, and probably faster. We shall see...
