1452mhz.....boosting, not bad at all. The high end maxwells going to dish out some performance.

Isn't that supposed to have a resolution that's 3840x2160?? Because I get much better FPS than that on my 780ti running the highest settings @ 1200p and i even run 4xMSAA.

The GTX980 is ~12% faster than its little brother GTX970 and it costs 220 more $$$......

Wow! I didn't expect the 980GTX to outperform the 780ti.... What's even more impressive is the 970GTX cost/performance ratio. I might just upgrade! π€
Thanks for the review Hilbert!

Meh, still waiting for a single-card 4K killer, or let me simply say...

I hope Nvidia don't call their next generation's flagship GTX1080, rather they should go with something like "GTX 4K Ti" or "GTX 4K TKO", lol.

Wow, the 970 is at a good pricepoint. If I'm gonna be around home this summer, I'll be snagging one asap. That'd be an awesome increase. My firestrike score with my 570 and my old q6600 only managed 3576 in firestrike. 9000+ would be awesome!

The performance per watt on these cards are awesome π
Wouldn't mind playing with some of the new features available.
The 970 really is bang for buck here, these cards also overclock like crazy!

Overclock performance doesn't appear to scale all that well. Still a custom board with a better VRM management adding a little ln2 may crack 2000mhz.....with the efficiency/ lower shader count Vs 780ti and the performance NVIDIA have done a good job

Yah looking good and I am so happy I was wrong about the price - well done Nvidia.
Grabbing 3 as soon as they are listed π

i give credit where its due, and i must say its an impressive achievement on the energy efficiency. the 970 uses the same power as a 760 but the performance is some 70% more. good job nvidia, i just hope the cards remain as short as possible.
PLEASE SHORT CARDS!!!!!!! PLEASEEEEEEEEEEEE

i sold my 670 a yr ago needed the money at the time figured these cards woudl be out soon but noooooooooo as you can see what i been gamin on is how should i say...not up to par lol, think there is a 970 in my future

Thanks for the review, Hilbert.
These cards are awesome! Perhaps it's not the best upgrade for 780Ti / Titan Black owners, but if you have anything less... mmmmmm. And all that stuff is at 165W TDP for 980.
I kinda hoped that 4k will be doable, but well... another year π
Ok, so where can I buy them?
