So MS Debugging controls are bugging Nvidia GeForce cards. 😱

Windows 11 sucks anyway, no loss there.

If you get a 4090 and activate DLSS 3, your fps will return back to 120 from 30. It's so powerful that it even overcomes Windows bugs through sheer force!

Espionage724:

Is this really becoming another W11 thread? Can anyone confirm if the GPU issues mentioned happen if GFE isn't installed?
It is a bug on W11. It would be strange if it became a OS X or Linux thread...

I've been on 22H2 since the beginning of the release preview and had no performance problems or slowdowns at all, GFE isn't installed

Why do you assume the debugging is wrongly activated by Windows 11?

You probably have to assume lower fps if you're running in debugging mode.

It doesn't seem to be wrongly activated on OS X or Linux, does it.

Damn, Microsoft treating nVidia like nVidia treated EVGA.

already fixed in the newest GFE package.

As always with such big updates, it's being pushed out in waves. I haven't received it yet either.

Crap, I did the update. FFS. That might as well explain the Kernel BSOD I got yesterday morning. Oh well, as soon as the driver update is available, I'll have to update.

I did a proper clean install and put it on a usb drive when it released and havnt had any issues, also i always use DDU when installing/uninstalling nvidia drivers

For anyone that plays VR or uses USB devices, WIn11 is a dumpster fire. Win11 breaks SteamVR and has from the beginning and theyve never fixed it. NO ONE on VRChat uses Win10. NO ONE.

Manuel stays on top of this stuff man...give him a pay raise. I can even experience the slowdown after redoing my M.2 NVMe drives to make them DirectStorage supported.
