Heh, maybe this release caught him and his plans on the wrong foot? Maybe he was upset because his distant niece was stealing his black leather jacket for the announcements? 😀
On a more serious note, what does he think he's talking about? RTX which works in close to no game? Or DLSS which does work in close to no game? If he only could turn on those things he might indeed have a clear advantage... right now he does not 😀

Most important thing is that his cards just works.
We cant wait for that 1180 cards, Jensen.

Hmm, would he describe performance of 2080 lousy too then?
I know that the Vega II will have worse performance per watt but considering the fact that this will be an equivalent of nVidias Titan but for a lot different price... well I would not call that lousy at all.

Sounds like someone is afraid of something. You don't go trash talking a rival unless you're worried.

That's just flat out disrespectful, and makes you look really ignorant considering you're a CEO.

Harsh words. I sense a bit of stress. RTX sales are slow and Nvidia actually lost half its value in the past few months.
anyhow it seems like Nvidia is going to play alone in the GPU market for now.

I find the prices of Nvidia lousy...

RTX series are overpriced and RT performance is poor. This year ill build fully AMD computer to my self.

I haven't owned a Radeon card since the 9700 Pro and wouldn't mind jumping ship if their most recent offering is competitive enough. I'm tired of nvidia's arrogance.

Just goes to prove that Nvidia are bullies. Who cares about Ray Tracing? I don't. Should'nt have someone working for them with that attitude. Counter-productive if you ask me.

I must admit he does have a bit of a point but then anyone in the know already knew this was mostly a Vega 64 die on 7nm with some mild tweaks. His jerk statement pretty much is how the entire company operates. We didn't know if they would have a consumer version which is nice they did that especially for folks that like to hobby in content creation.

"Wow."

Did someone shit in JHHs sweaty jacket this morning? Quite unprofessional and harsh. I long for the day someone competent took over his job.
Until then, JHH should just shut his mouth and keep working on better products himself. I want something faster than my 1080Ti but 2080Ti doesn't cut it. Ridiculous price and lousy performance considering last gen and the price hike.

Ahahah lol Huang, you made me want to risk buying artefacting 2080 with RT and DLSS and without HBCC. In the meantime let me just turn down resolution to get DLSS-like quality, and not turn on RT so I can get +100% fps 😀

So the bullies got bullied. Usually its someone from AMD making harsh comments towards Nvidia. Jensen loosing his cool , something must be up.

RVII is the there just to hold ground until Navi comes and he knows that.
He must find a way to sell his crappy RTX cards until that happen so stating something like this is only thing nvidia can do.
Darkiee
That is just, retarded. How arrogant you can be? Does he just want attention, or wth is going on?
I´d get it, if he´d say that to her face, in private, but publicly, meeh, get a life man.

Thinking about this more.... The Vega II that AMD showed off isn't the full chip as I'm sure everyone noticed it was only using 3840 stream processors. I wonder if Nvidia is worried AMD will put out a 4096 version that is on par with 2080 Ti performance?
No indication where Navi is right now but if its a 6-9 months out AMD could have a nice lineup with Navi filling in for the 2070 performance and below.
