Not sure I'm afraid, maybe someone else here can help. I'd expect some Vulkan benchmarks and demos to pop-up shortly.

Going to post this over in the AMD section, if you have The Talos Principle, you can opt into a Public Beta which has the Vulkan API.

The latest branch is better. If you don't plan on testing the Vulkan API or developing for the Vulkan API there is no reason to downgrade from 361.91 to this dev beta. Wait for the official release which will include Vulkan support in it.

So just installed, dying light bf running as normally. I see why Fermi owners may not supported , only wddm 1.3 driver. Very early beta. I am putting back the latest one.

I doubt that WDDM has anything to do with Vulkan. It's just an early beta.

Without wddm 2.0 driver , impossible to make DX 12 support . I would say, this is the situation again here.

WDDM 2.0 doesn't matter for Vulkan because Vulkan it's also working all the way back to Windows 7, which is limited to WDDM 1.1 There isn't any confirmation about Vulkan on Haswell either, which also supports DX12. Perhaps Vulkan simply has a higher hardware requirement than DX12.

I suppose Fermi will get Vulkan support later down the road?

Except Vulkan isn't concerned with WDDM, it works all the way back to Win XP.

Why is the driver number lower than the new GameReady driver?

I have this game but completed it long ago (good game by the way, well worth buying). i've just started to redownload it again and will give vulkan a blast when i have abit of spare time .... although from reading the forums and the dev notes dont expect fantastic fps or smooth gameplay, there still working hard on sorting a lot of problems, especially with the combination of windows 10 and Nvidia ..

So how many years will it be before it actually does what it says?
