Lol..so the 1080(or whatever its called) is now 'mid range'?

Is it confirmed that the x80 models are mid-range now?

As much as we all hate it, yes probably. Only AMD can change this.

lol, 1080 Ti in 2017 ???

i think the big selling points for pascal cards will be new features to get the best out of dx12 , and we start get the dx12 games u need a pascal card to get all the game features and aimed at 4k so 4k becomes the standard and replaces 1080p

Well looking at the roadmap one might want to presume that the Titan is the highend and the 1080Ti will be what most of us are looking out for?

Well, with their logic I guess it's as follows: High-End: TITAN XXX/1080Ti Mid-Range: 1080/1070/1060 and the rest. As of now the TITAN X/980Ti are obviously the High-End and 980/970/960 the mid-range ones according again to them. P.S: After looking that roadmap more closely, all I see is XXXX??????? XXXX?????? XXX????? XXXX????? really(meaning wise).

since 2 generation it is... it's not because the high end of AMD compete with it that it is the high end too.

So instead of having textures which are 1024 x 1024, you want to make textures 4096 x 4096? I honestly do not know what you mean by 4K - please elaborate.

With the fall of the price of the 4k screen it is obviously what it is intended for. But generaly what NVidia call "Big" something chip is Quadro or Tesla... and main consumer come after 🙂 so i think it will be pro chip 1st.

Yeah right..A 549$ card is definitely a mid-range card..Not..There is a category called ''Performance'' and that's where 980/970/1080/1070 etc belong. Titan X/980Ti - High-end GTX980/970 - Performance GTX950/960 - Mid-range Or GM200 - High-end GM204 - Performance GM206 - Mid-range

Ti is maybe a bit late, but besides that it's pretty much what I expected. And yes, 980s for instance are midrange, top end GPUs are Titans and TIs. Just like a 380X is midrange these days. Nothing out of the ordinary I'd say.

it would be wise to avoid all the new pascal and polaris card until the market is flooded with DX12, for those people who want the card ONLY for DX12. As for others, better wait till Polaris arrives and see who wins, probably first titan 1000$ again if not more.

This does not look accurate imho. Considering 1080ti maybe coming in 2017. If they are going by whatever they did before it would come few months after said Titan not a year, if they are going to release a Titan that is. Rumors are fun. But time will tell.

Most likely 😀

wathever you call it (can be called "entusiast" too) it is still not high end... Just one point the cheapest 980 cost 420 Euro (gainward phantom) and the most expensive 570 Euro (EVGA k!ngp!n)... so it is 50/50

Looks like i have to wait for Pascal rev 2.

Don't worry about the price, it will cost more than it should.

This probably best describes it. I wouldn't put too much faith in this leak. I doubt a big card is coming in April.
