I remember one hube Orochi passive cooler, i dunno if was ever released and if was somewhere reviewed, it was behemoth. I tried to keep it passive as long as was possible, but i had to move to water.. Therre would be some some new case ready for passive cooling for gaming - Steacom now working one after Calyst Kickstarter fail (i lost 500 Euro 🙁 ), but im not sure about other sacrifices in case configuration, because i need all 6 PCI-E slots filled, because of multiboot and KVM (so i have 3 graphics cards, additional discs controller and 3 addition USB controllers(other)) for Linux, MacOS, WinXP -Win7- Win10 - native multiboot and KVM for WinXP Win98,WinXP and Win7 with 3D accelerated card for gaming..

White Fans are also planned for Q2 next year. https://noctua.at/en/product-roadmap
ow thank you for that link to the roadmap, nice to know the black NF-A12X25's are still on there and should be coming somewhere early next year, my fan's are loud, one's motor already died (it still works but one hell of a racket and magnetic bearings so...that shouldn't be it). atleast i have some time to save up (need 7 of them for my plans which won't be cheap >.<)

ooh la la with a nice 65 watt APU you can make one hell of a Quiet media/gaming pc perfect for the living room or audiophile.

You know for Years I resisted Noctua because of the crappy 1970s colour scheme but I gave in earlier this Year because they were behind a Rad and I thought wont see them who cares, but now I actually like the installed look and contrast so much that I have converted all my fans and removed the Black ones I had in there....be a boring old world if we were all the same! Beige and Brown has become cool......for gods sakes someone help me!

Yea dude I love the Noctua colour scheme. I currently have 6 x 120mm Noctua fans, 1 x 140mm Noctua fan, and a 90mm Noctua fan on the GPU VRM (modded with the NZXT kraken G12 bracket). Actually I don't like the silver of the coolers, I want an NH-U12A but in black and I will sell the black fans that come with it and slap on the beige and brown fans instead :P

Judging by the prototype the fins are all directed wrong, it won't help the fan at the back to take out the heat quickly.

I have a Deepcool Gammaxx GTE and I don't know why would someone want a massive heavy passive cooler. A good cooler with a silent fan and a well ventilated case makes for a very silent PC.

Its inevitable that someone will attach fans to it.

Yea man, you're right. Noctua have no experience with CPU coolers, they have no idea what they're doing, it's 100% wrong.

If you wish to use the cooler together with a slow RPM fan you want it pointing to the left as usual, but this won't be easily done with this cooler. Experience doesn't mean a lot, most coolers on the motherboards for instance are just made to look good not to perform optimally.

Lol isn't this the opposite of Noctua? They don't make coolers on motherboards and literally everyone calls their stuff "shit brown" but they tolerate it because they do perform optimally. Don't get me wrong - it's entirely possible Noctua releases a dud with this thing - but they have an extremely solid track record of producing the top air cooled products for over a decade now.

Yea, and Noctua are also known for their great-looking fan designs sporting the luxurious colors of 100% natural puke. :P

I guess the fins are a bit further apart compared to their current line up, easing air passage compared to the others. Because surface area is definitely less than with their fan driven designs. Still depends on case fans though, so...

No offense but if you had ever opened one Noctua cooler box, you'd know that you're out of order. These guys are the benchmark for excellence. And since we're there for air cooling 🙂
