It would be nice if instead of making faster and more power hungry CPU's/GPU's for these mobile devices, they invested some of their R&D money into better battery technology. Fast phones are great but it sucks when you have to charge it 3 times a day.

They can't. It isn't their battery thus they don't own patent. And you know what happens when patents are in guestion....

Nivida Tegra 4 would be even better due single core which is responsible for preserving battery life. Yes, its quad core with 72 cuda cores, but when it's idle and not in use, the single core takes over - I forgot what it's called.

Will these new mobiles be much larger than the Samsung Galaxy S4?

Seems like Samsung is flipping back and forth between ARM's Mali GPU technology and Imagination Technologies' PowerVR GPU technology for their SoCs. The SoC in Galaxy S4 (International) has a PowerVR GPU.
Can't wait to drive test this Exynos when it hits the market. It's a shame that they're barely in any devices, even the North American Samsung devices use Qualcomm SoCs instead of their own which really never made sense to me. Their SoCs are fully capable of using Qualcomm's radios, why not just stick to doing that? Many of the Qualcomm SoCs they use aren't the ones with integrated baseband radios anyways, so it really doesn't make much sense to me.
