NFS has never been about being a driving simulator. There plenty of other options out there for a racing simulator. NFS has always just been about the name of the game and fun.

Every time they say they gonna restart it and back to old days and every time we see they just doing same poops over and over. This seems to be hopeless.
You do realize that the game released on consoles months ago and has plenty of reviews out already, right? Seriously, I know that you guy prefer PC, but being completely oblivious to the console side is a bit much.

I played the game on my friends PS4. Very pretty looking game, the environments and cars are nicely detailed and there's a ton of content for the cars like real body kits (Rocket bunny!!) and real mods. However, the driving is absolute garbage. As someone who does real track days and drifting, it does not feel anything like handling a car. Physics are about on par with TDU2.
You do realize that this is an arcade racing game and not a simulator, right? It's like complaining that playing CoD doesn't feel like shooting a gun.

It looks good but the manual transmission is something I would never use. I have enough problems controlling the cars in NFS games without that. In real life, I have never owned a manual transmission car either.

Man the track reminds me so much of the old days, doubt that I'll get another NFS game anytime soon, but they are on the right track if they want to go back to Underground style.

dat awkward moment when people are acting like underground is some kind of classic...even though back then it got a lot of hate and enthusiasts only conisdered the first 3 along with porsche unleashed to be true nfs titles i suppose the dwindling quality of nfs makes NFSU look really damn good nowadays.
