Lol, they're determined to make these things nearly as expensive as the GPU itself.
..I bet you won't get much change from a $100/€100/£75

you know I don't know what's taking them so long to put out soft tri and quad bridges ones with some play in them sorta over length of the slots.
2 cards it does not matter much on most modern mb'sbut when you have 3 or 4 cards its nice to be able to move the cards a bit(even just a little)for more air flow .you can put a big cfm fan on top but you still need some room for airflow between the cards.
I think I used a tri connect 1 time but it sucked so I always use 3 long soft connectors for tri now in a open bench rig that is.....well that said its about time they trash the connecters anyway

err this would be great for 2 cards as well... which is what the majority of people have as its common knowledge that 3 and 4 way sli doesn't scale well at all. Cutting out a section of the market for the win.

I'd just get a 90 degree rotated case from silverstone and all blower type gpus works no airflow issues in those set ups.

I they will cost more than 25€ it will be a huge fail bought just by fanboys. I mean for 15€ you can get a 140mm benchmark bracket from dimastech, 5€/10€ for a 140mm fan, and usually you got the SLi bridge for free with motherboard. Also if someone goes for a 4 way sLi, why should he not go for watercooling?
kinggavin
they must be bored its a pretty useless idea , 4 gpus sandwiched in like that the top cards gonna be loud as hell overheat and downclock then performance will be terrible , even with all the fans at 100% i doubt u be able to stop the top card overheating when it is at 100% load because there too close together , a 3 or 4 way sli setup your best bet is to watercool it , and then its only really any good for benchmarking because modern games even 2-way sli dont work in a lot of them

Pointless idea is pointless.
Why would anyone spend money on such an item?

It's a nice things for cases without fans in the sidedoor anyway, which everybody should have with 3 or 4 cards sandwiched. I don't but then again my 3 cards have 1 slot free between them, sitting in slots 1, 4 and 7 with a long flexible tri-bridge.

Really? I mean....as many of us build our own PC rigs...don't tell me no one else, besides me, have custom mounted a 120mm case fan somewhere on the sides of the GPU's for better air flow?
stereoman
I'd probably pick one up if I was still running sli, the heat it generates is crazy I mean the only other option is watercooling and a custom loop is out of my budget and the AIO kits seem like more hassle then they're worth,

My opinion- I would not want this on my system if I had multi-gpu, for 1 its not going to do much at that angle the fan is mounted depending what kind of cards you have. Not to mention its so ugly and ruins the entire look of a Sli or Crossfire set-up/.Nz

Does this mean that SLI bridges are here to stay? nVidia needs to go like AMD.

FINALLY.
What I've always been lacking - more vibration on my connectors.
