Good, blower has it's advantages (Air sucks in, air blows out outside of the case.) but it's drawbacks too like the smaller, louder fan and cooling volume or well what it's called but efficiency and all that. Sure the third party models have all the odd gimmicky marketing terms and glowy bits of ohh shiny must have LED all the things but it'll be interesting to see what it can do for Navi here assuming the GPU core isn't already at it's peak but even if it is just reducing the overall temps and getting the power delivery and that up (Although the stock AMD PCB's tend to be pretty over-engineered from what I know.) could still lead to a higher stable clock speed instead of the "Up to." it might actually perform closer to the 1900 Mhz range now or possibly higher though I assume water is going to be needed for sustained 2.0 Ghz or higher depending on where the voltage wall hits and thermals and such impact things to a bigger degree. And what might change in newer drivers but that's software and just something AMD will have to tinker with over the next few months I suspect. (WTFMan and all that. It's not bad but yeah it's quite overly complicated and a bit clunky though once it's set up it can be pretty good ha ha.) Now then MSI Armor and all that and what the other manufacturers will deliver, vapor chamber, military grade caps and LED's on everything and all that stuff as usual. 😀 (Well vapor chamber doesn't have to be bad I suppose, not sure if it's all that compared to cost but just a good dual or tri fan cooler could make a nice difference over blower version here on the stock version heh.) EDIT: No what was the GPU's called, eh guess it varies. Dragon? (EDIT: Nope armor was indeed a name at one point and the Twin Frozr brand cooling or at least the fans.) EDIT: Ah and Twin Frozr is already mentioned in the article among other product names like Mech. Nice! (And Evoke as the new high-end or enthusiast brand name then.)

Hell if EVGA made AMD GPU's they would be embarrassed by only doing 7 versions. OH BTW my opinion EVGA craphics cards suck on build quality,my lastest EVGA RTX 2080 XU Ultra OC did not last long in my gaming PC. Anyway I happen to like MSI gear in the last 10 years and might pick up 5700XT cheap one in August release, trying to sell RTX 2080 to buy 5700XT and not getting any interest at all.Got offered a dodge charger though.Sorry for sidetrack there.

Mech OC? So, after all there is an exclusive AMD branding?

Mech sounds badass. Waiting to see the Aorus/Strix version as well.

Why can't they say, when, exactly will they be available ? August has 31 days ...

MSI produces a great product. My last two builds were with MSI mainboards and will continue to be.

I'm waiting for the XFX's Navi iterations. My good ole XFX RX 480 was top notch product, and the easy clip-on fans were a nice feature.

Wait... I thought only Nvidia was allowed to make "Gaming" video cards.. xD

"Mech" branding seems to be the evolution of the "ARMOR" series of heatsinks. Also on an unrelated note, don't use 19.7.1 drivers yet. They are heavily bugged, even for older video cards. I get very strange behavior in Superposition stress test with 19.7.1 across multiple Radeon RX 470 4GB cards where the scene freezes in place, but the timer continues to tick up, and objects that float around for various scenes continue to float around, but the camera doesn't change spots. Rolling back to 19.6.3 reverts this behavior.
