Not that great of a value, but the performance-per-watt is extremely good.

RIP PC gaming.

Performance is pretty good but the price is awful. Welcome to 2021.

There are no bad products, just bad prices. And the price of the 6600XT is terrible.

Thanks AMD! This is a great VGA and overpriced aaand has got less vram than RTX 3060 aaand restricted to PCI-e 4.0@8, did I forget something? The only question remains, why??

For a 1080p GPU, it has enough VRAM and PCIe bandwidth, especially for 4.0. I'm sure AMD is well aware these will all sell out at inflated prices, so, where there's demand, there are higher prices. For gamers, this is nothing more than a paper launch. Even if you can get your hands on one at MSRP, it's still not worth getting.

Thats the thing its worth getting at msrp and amd knows that. For a 379$ you can get only used 1070 right now.

i'd swap mine for 6600xt,though at 1440p 3.0 x8 this card is gonna tank.

Told you 3060 Ti will destroy this thing at MSRP 😀.

3060ti msrp is a myth. Even when all this is over it will never be 400$.

Except it doesn't... So far, I've only seen an actual price-to-performance graph from Phoronix, where the 3060 Ti gets "destroyed". Meanwhile, the 3060 Ti uses about 15% more power despite not winning in every benchmark. As others have pointed out, you're not getting either one for MSRP.

told you, this card craps its pants at higher resolutions.at 3440x1440 3060ti will be ~40% faster. And 2x faster with RT on.

everything about this card screams low-end,except the price.

It's about RTX 2060 to 2070 performance for about £500. Pre pandemic RTX 2060 was about £300. Yeah, it sux, but it's a brand new card. :/ I do think PC will come back when BTC ASIC miners catch up. Right now GPU's are too competitive in mining .

Obvious question - is performance affected when you plug it into a PCI gen 3 motherboard?

Performance and power is very good but that price... $20 shy of 5700XT launch msrp... What a joke

Or you have pcie4 x8 where its not an issue.
or,or you can just make it 16x and not require people to upgrade their mobo/cpu for a card that's crap value anyway.

Its not their fault your intel 10gen do not support pcie4.
