another great review HH. this is "more like it" for AM 5. this board is solid and the price is not bad w/ wifi and burly VRMs aesthetically, it looks really nice. perfect for a "murdered out" build

Makes you wonder how much of a market there will be for 670E if this is what the more cost effective boards represent.

considering some of them has shit VRM cooling or no wifi included and other has shit audio system.. well this audio system isn't excellent but at least is multichannel... 670E has no real reason to exist anyway, beside asus, looks like most of motherboards will lack of good and multichannel audio system...

i'm in the market for an AM 5 mobo and after looking at this i won't pay more no matter which one i choose

Wait... I just read this article and the CPU and iGPU performance is the same as the 7700x CPU review. So besides more PCI lanes, performance wise its the same? I wanted to see the OC or max PBO boost performance. Will that come later? Edit NVM... Found it at the VRM and temp page...

A minimum of three NVMe slots and a ton of USB is what i need, if i can find a B650 that does both i might well be in. I was hoping £1500 for CPU, 64gb RAM and MOBO.

I upgraded last year for a little over $800 after tax for 11900kf, MPG z590 EK X and 32gb 3600 ddr4. What CPU/MB you upgrade from? are you waiting for X3D's? Myself I want to give my current system away and keep my DDR4 and go raptor lake.

I currently run a 3800x, 32gb 3200mhz RAM, 3 x G3n 4NVMe and a 6900xt, all custom WCed. Just baught a 5800X3D and 64gb or Patriot 3600mhz RAM as my main game (DCS) loves RAM and CPU speed. Once the 7900xt is out and the dust settles with AM5, il look to see if its work upgrading (CPU/MOBO/DDR5), il grab a 7900XT when its out if its a big enough jump over my current card.

Now this is a MB that makes sense but it should be a little cheaper. My greatest concern about the B boards is the onboard sound, my future MB needs a good onboard sound solution. Also, can someone tell me if the Ram and SSD speeds are any different than the more expensive boards? Great review Hilbert.

Ouch! not so cheap, Scan (in the UK) has it at £369.98, are you sure $220 is anywhere near correct?

A bit expensive for a B*50, but it is less chunked than the B550 (that were very much acceptable in it's time). Exept the price it is all good... and for the price we have few month until it drop. Not bad at all.
