I wonder if the battery will last longer than 30 minutes. :funny:
I remember seeing a review for a 19" laptop before, dual gpu, had like 50 minutes life at max. Non max wasn't that great either. They more advertise it as a long life UPS.

That keyboard layout is seriously retarded. What the hell is it with MSI and keyboard layouts? Look at they key directly to the right of the space bar. On a standard layout that should be the Alt key. Is it the Alt key here? No. It's a \ key. IS there already a \ key on the keyboard in the standard position? Yes. Do we need two \ keys on one keyboard? No. Why did MSI do this? Who the **** knows. Oh, and the key to the right of that should be the Windows key right? Nope, on this MSI laptop it is Alt/Gr instead. No, the Windows key is where the menu key should be, and the menu key is nonexistent. Oh, and instead of a numerical keypad MSI gave you a tackpad that can also be a virtual keypad. So when you use the keypad you can't tell which button you're pressing unless you look at the ****ing trackpad. Hey, MSI: Nobody who plays serious games on a gaming laptop actually uses the ****ing trackpad. They use a mouse instead. A physical mouse. A mouse that they hold in their hands. You did not need to replace the numpad with a trackpad you idiots.

Two of the best mobile GPUs with 8GB of VRAM, to drive an ordinary 1080p screen.
This. Complete fail.

This is the perfect laptop for high end gaming if you travel a lot for work and vacation etc.

Well lets say they put the keyboard up where that stuff is and put that stuff down where the keyboard is now. That would mean your palm would be resting on a surface that's at the same height as the keys when typing. So you would be pressing the keys below the base of your palm. Which would induce carpal tunnel literally overnight. I don't think the design is pretty but if you want a mechanical keyboard in a laptop that's the only way to do it.
I think its more because it is a pro-gamer laptop, the keyboard is positioned perfectly for use like a desktop keyboard and you would bring along a good mouse with it. The keypad is interchangeable with another track pad, but I find track pads would be just for the most basic tasks, pretty much anything non-gaming. It would be like a carry around PC; imagine going to a coffee shop and plugging in a 350w brick power supply. 🙂

Actually, imagine going anywhere without that power brick.

The whole thing in total will be like 7kg, it'd kill your back to carry it any more than half an hour. edit, 4.7kg for the laptop, something tells me that's sans power brick, which would be at least a kilo.
