Nice review as always, i'm wondering if 2 of these would be cheaper and faster than a top end 680.

Hey Hilbert does this thing have 7.1 output via HDMI or is that only limited to the higher end cards? I've been considering building a HTPC/Living room gaming box thing, so I'm looking for something on the cheaper side but 7.1 is a must.

Hey Hilbert, bottom of page 2 it says "ASUS definitely is using their own customized PCB alright."

"Here is Guru3Ds power supply recommendation:
GeForce GTX 660 - On your average system the card requires you to have a 450~500 Watt power supply unit.
GeForce GTX 660 SLI - On your average system the cards require you to have a 700 Watt power supply unit as minimum.
If you are going to overclock GPU or processor, then we do recommend you purchase something with some more stamina.
There are many good PSUs out there, please do have a look at our many PSU reviews as we have loads of recommended PSUs for you to check out in there. What would happen if your PSU can't cope with the load:
bad 3D performance
crashing games
spontaneous reset or imminent shutdown of the PC
freezing during gameplay
PSU overload can cause it to break down
"
There are no problems, restarts or any problems with quality 520W PSU ie. Seasonic M12 II running Msi GTX 660 TF III OC 2GB SLI and Intel 2600K @1.2V & 4,2GHz.
From my experience, power consumption of 110 Avg and 124W Peak per card plus app. 200W for the rest of the system shows a real world of numbers and it works for me.
However, recommendation exists for the customer to be sure and on the right side with the system power supply.
