Hilbert did you know MSI claim Vishera support on their 970a G46 & G43 motherboards?? Both boards have only 4+1 phase analogue vrm's, but worse still is the G43 has NO COOLING! Furthermore, Overclocking Genie is touted as a main BIOS feature in promotional info on MSI's site and outlets like NewEgg. All of which is advertising obfuscation since overclocking on Vishera will result in throttling and eventually fry the VRM's. I spoke to an MSI rep last year about this in particular the G43, his response was the G43 could only take CPU's up to 65W!! He then said the CPU support list was wrong and would be corrected. That was a year ago. Yesterday while on NewEgg I checked out MSI's AM3+ section. They have been inundated with customer complaints about vrm overheating, cpu throttling, and fried motherboards. Unbelievably, MSI still lists the 8320 as a supported CPU and it;s overclocking potential...- not only that but the 8350 is included with a bundle package on NewEgg for these boards. They are clearly misleading customers. They know about the issues, they've known for a year, and nothing has changed.... so one can only conclude it's deliberate deception. As MSI use Guru3D for product promotion are u able to apply some pressure on their PR dept. to stop this behavior?
