Geez @s0x, one little typo and you made a LCS pic. lol LCD's inside the case? Seriously this has gone to far.

Oh @JamesSneed I didn't make the pic, check again. But it can well not be a complete typo, since LCs stands for liquid crystals and the word display is next 🤓

Heh, 2x NVMe 2TB SSD's on the pic - nice dream 🙂

Now... When your $600 motherboard fails, it can tell you it failed... Or can it???

If it is using the chipset from the motherboard to run its functions no. If it has its own embedded system that just works with the motherboard and can just take power from the motherboard if something fails on the motherboard, then yes! I'm no engineer but I can only assume if it were possible that's how it would be done.

motherboards have been screaming( beeping ) at me for nearly 30 years? ( though I never bothered to memorize the series of beep meanings? 🙂 ) ( pictured? ) But isn't that just a fancy shroud cooler with display over an m.2 slotted nvme ssd?

Be cool if you could post your own message/tag on your own motherboard lcd screen. Rgb is a little been there done thatish. Wondering if this is a smart move for Intel when Zen is out there for 30 cents on the Intel dollar?

Honestly, I wouldn't buy a mainboard without a Qled anymore. But that's just over the top... and not even looking that appealing to me personally.
