Well, with OCulink it offers much more bandwith, from 40 to 64 gb/s is a huge amount imho. Saw a test already and it shows clearly improvement with OCulink !

Yup, this machine is quite a beast. IMO, it renders the UM790 Pro obsolete, not because of the Occulink (which personally I could care less about eGPU), but because it fixes the only flaw it has: the Wifi/Bluetooth antenna issue, and additionally adds 2x 2.5G ethernet. PS: performance difference between the 7840HS and the 7940HS is negligible (and sometimes in favor of the 7840HS), so... if I had to chose between UM780 XTX and UM790 Pro, I'd get the UM780 XTX every time.
