I have this update installed, no problems. If only people would buy a legitimate Windows copy and stop modding critical files we wouldn't have to read these articles.
Please define "critical files".

You would think releasing an update without an issue is something Microsoft is capable of by now.
It's pretty obvious by now that their non-enterprise updates are beta tests. I have the update installed but haven't done a lot since, I don't know if it's affecting me.

You do know that the update's issues are with certain OEM computers? I don't know what that has anything in common with a legimate OS or modding files....

Been having issues with 100% CPU load for no reason (initially shows 100% CPU usage on system interrupts but then changes to spread it out over everything). Also been having issues with windows taking longer to start up. These issues only started since that update. Went in to try and uninstall the update... guess what... can uninstall 90% of the updates there, but... not this one... gives me no option to uninstall for it... FFS microsoft... And for all those "but it works fine for me! stop modding windows! stop using illegal windows!" people, I'm using a 100% legal, 100% unmodded windows install so go back to your corner and STFU.

Something you could try that I did recently is an in place upgrade, so, basically upgrading to the same build of Windows 10. I had an update that would got to 100% and then failed and then keep doing it on each startup and the in place upgrade fixed it, didn't even have to install anything again windows was just all how it was before except the update installed finally. Kinda funny thing was when I asked for help on this issue few weeks ago someone said buy a legitimate copy of windows... and I'm like.. what.. Windows 10 was free xD I used the installation media creator and chose the upgrade option. https://www.microsoft.com/en-au/software-download/windows10

Might give that a go, thanks! Windows just released another cumulative update though, might give that a try first just in case, if that doesn't fix it ill try your method, if that doesn't work... guess I'm re installing... i have a small sever with a bunch of different images of windows installs on it... but of course... i forget to do an image of MY system... just full of customers images and new system images...
