Should be surface something light? Nice specs, after you look at 1.7 kg and so normal notebook make more sense.

what i expect they have improved is the repairability of this devices, old surfaces were a nightmare just to disassemble (in fact you have to destroy the palm rest just to get inside)

Same question. Every time I saw a Surface on the repair bin, I felt uncomfortable. And people just could not understand that the device couldn't be serviced properly without destroying it. It must be that the technician is poorly prepared and inexperienced, not that a company as Microsoft could do that to them, whom payed.

I see Pro 8's 891g as a very respectable weight... I've used the Pro 6 quite often and... for road warriors, teachers, etc. I think that there's nothing better. Quite happy to see the Pro 8's external improvements.
