I'll give it 3 more years before MS announces EOL for Windows 7. It seems like they want to push Windows 8 on everyone.

Dont really care about sp2 infact i didnt even care about sp1 as everything worked great before sp1.

Guess this means certain fixes will never be officially released, like those hotfixes that say "only install if you are experiencing this problem," e.g. that will never be on winupdate.
As for: "Why is nobody whining that there are no more service packs for Win XP? There should be some Win98 fans as well." Well, simple: Win7 (and even Vista) is not officially dead yet. lol
