Sorry, I can't help but grin at the irony... so their bugged updates can't be delivered due to bugged update servers? 😀

I was starting to wonder why I'm not getting any late night updates...

At least that's an understandable problem, but forcing poorly tested updates isn't.

I know, what a disastrous time for MS. They are still dealing with that crippling 81% desktop/notebook market share and for two days some users couldn't get their monthly update packages. They cycle around somewhere in the top 5 most valuable companies in the world and made 35.1 billion in net income in 2018. Enough of the drama about MS struggling in any way.
Enjoy one of these while you wait an extra day or two for your monthly update package:

I really would like them to make this a feature. Just sayin. 😉 Honestly I would have no problem taking updates 30-45 days out from there release.

I installed an update a few days ago and now my charging percentage is messed up. Laptop/tablet only charges when it's off. Maybe Windows is reading the wrong charging percentage but right after the update my 2 year old unit the charging either stays the same or decreased lol. Gotta love WINDOWS 10.
Also the update doesn't show my 3 software icons for car diagnostics now it takes 30 seconds for those icons are shown but only in TABLET MODE. All this shit just happen after the update.

I have my Windows 10 updates delayed by six months. I'd prefer someone else find the bugs.

I am still using the stable, smooth and polished v1709 Win 10 Pro and set deferred feature update to 1 year. I haven't faced any issues related to Windows 10 like data deletion, application/driver incompatibilities or this windows update issue etc. I would continue using v1709 with customized update settings which is the way Windows 10 to be in the first place.

Windows 8.1 here, no updates just strait up clean install and then windows update disabled before connecting to the net, no issues for months now.
Although I still use 10 on a laptop every day, I hate the damn thing.

That's what they say, but their SDK is updated with Machine Learning API now. With that, they can probably determine how often you connect to a server, learn what hops your machine will use, how often, etc. I know this because they pushed a PR yesterday only to my laptop, but not my two gaming rigs.
