Logitech should return the G5 or G500.

I would like to see logtech to bring back mx1100 the shape and placment of buttons were peferct for my hands, they have similar mouses but not ever was quiet right size for my hand

I wouldn't get this for games if you have a >60Hz monitor. This seems to be a normal 125Hz mouse. If you use those on a high refresh monitor, you're going to get visible microstutter. This really is "just a mouse." The original was very good for what it was, meaning it lasts, good buttons, cheap, comfortable, but it was never meant to be used for gaming. These cost around $15 IIRC back in the day, and you could find them for as low as $8 at some places. Awesome for the price, but don't expect it to match a 500Hz or 1000Hz mouse with a sensor made for gaming.

This new version is 1000hz polling rate https://www.microsoft.com/accessories/en-us/products/mice/microsoft-classic-intellimouse Afaik the very first version had a bad sensor for gaming, but the "best known" MS Intelli eye 3.0 and its siblings used the MLT04 sensor, that sensor was way ahead of its time, it proved better than many sensors that came years after it...It has proven it's worth in gaming and it became a classic. And it was indeed intended for gaming aswell.

$39.99 Well, this doesn't have anything to do with the actual "classic intellimouse" then. This is a completely different mouse. They named it "intellimouse" simply because it looks similar. That's all, it seems. So it seems this is all wrong. MS is not bringing the intellimouse back again.

Inspired by the Microsoft Intellimouse 3.0, It's the same shape, same look, same features. Just improved sensor with higher polling/accuracy.
