Then you must be aware of the concept of rehearsals and simply being prepared. This is ofcourse assuming you're no keyboard warrior.

Damn do it with a bit more dignity... simply walking away. Apologize infront of the crowd and say you didn't rehearse enough. At least that'll diffuse the situation lol. XD 😀

I feel sorry for him not in a bad way tho. This things happen.
He froze even if I wouldn't expect it from a man of his statue. But he's a director and not a politician/public speaker etc. Speech might not be his strongest point, especially in public.
But I would expect from a guy like him to handle it better than that. Honesty sometimes does wonders to ease up situations like this.
E.g: "My apologies everyone, there is a technical problem and I cannot continue the presentation for now. (optional: And I wrote such a nice speech for you all!) Thank you for understanding and I hope you enjoy the new products by Samsung. Thank you again."
All in all nothing really bad happened besides a small embarrassment and that happened NOT because the teleprompter wasn't working but because he didn't handle well at all.

It could be that he has performance anxiety.
He probably rehearsed several times, but didn't expect there to be so many people with cameras flashing at him.

He's winged it with a few good scripts and a DP whose made his films looks nice during the late 90's until now...but he's a talentless muppet.

Christopher Nolan would not let this happen - but then again, Christopher Nolan wouldn't be seen dead or alive doing a cash grab junket presentation for a hardware manufacturer, unless he was putting the money into a personal project, ofc.
