Are you referring to remasters in general, because I don't think any of those potential issues apply to this game. Just from the content they've released, I'm pretty sure there is not a single shred of the original game in this remake. It's an entirely different game engine, all new code, all new world, all new models, all new sounds, all new cutscenes. They may be reusing the same basic story and same missions, but I really doubt that even a single line of code from the original game is in this new remake. I would suspect it's a refined Mafia 3 engine underneath and that is light years ahead of the original game, by any metric.
