Looking good. Hope the response time/ input lag isn't so bad. 🙂

"It has a 8ms G2G response time" WTF.... Is this the 2005 version. They can keep it with such high response time.

You wont notice those response times anyways unless you Game at a Profressional Level and earn your living with it.

That is just stupid. You are telling me that if I dont earn a living in professional gaming then I won't be able to notice the response time? Where did you get that fact from? Your ass. If you can't say something useful then stop talking, Troll.

Lost me at VA, then lost me again at 1080p.

Calm down man, it was a ridiculous thing to say but no need to respond like that.

A newbie calling out an Ancient Guru for being a troll?? Ok that is a new one for me. He is right though, 8ms response time will be pretty hard to tell the difference between even a 1ms response screen. Unless you are playing intensely twitchy games such as CSGO, or COD. Even then for the average gamer it will be extremely unlikely you will see it. He also never called you out personally so why did you call him out for no reason? I see only one troll in here.

I'm all for curved if screen is large enough, esp on ultra-wides. But on 27" I see it as a drawback than an advantage. Seems gimmickry rules the market place. p.s. bet lowice gets an infraction.

It's well beyond what an average person needs. But the average gamer isn't the average person.

The average gamer aint going to buy a g-sync screen for starters

That's debatable 😉 Some average gamers have more money than sense and fall for many Gimmicks. From my own experience with Lenovo monitors I see only good things here. 8ms isn't that bad at all, you can see a slight difference but like you say, an average gamer will not really care or adapt to it very easily. I do find it odd that a high end, curved, G-sync monitor has 8ms but I'm not one to complain. It looks pretty damn sweet. The elite gamer obviously will cringe. And instead of jumping down Lowice throat for his little brain fart.. you can just ignore his post entirely and stay on topic 🙂

Response time can be 1-8ms. Important thing is that the input lag is not bad. Even if ones display had response time of 1ms if the input lag is bad it helps none. That is one odd display tho.

Well first 8 GTG is too high if you play some FPS or racing game you will see the freaking shadow effect behind what ever is moving. Now for curved screens I own Samsung 9000 65" 4k curved TV and it sux 2 reasons. 1. If there is a light source behind or from the side on a traditional TV you get a small light dot at some point ... here you get a bright line of light all across the curved TV cause it's curved. 2. Viewing angles suck badly even more than a TN panel the moment you move from the perfect center of the TV the color become less rich and it's freaking noticeable by everyone. So as far as curved screen go if you are in the center of the screen it's not a problem and play in a dark room with no lights 🙂 . Other than that it's nice to see more and more companies are doing gaming monitors which only means the cost will keep going down.

The market is full of useless gimmicks (due to the lack of competition...) not to mention 3D and VR both having been over hyped for no reason.

Feels like this monitor is a step back not forward, 8ms is definately fail. Heck I didn't think it would be the case, but the extra blur going from a 1ms TN to 4ms IPS has been absolutely noticeable to me. Although that extra blur could be something else in this IPS panel(Acer XB270HU), like not so great overdrive... but I'm assuming its the response time(ms).

I'm not too familiar, but a VA panel, is that like Lenovo's name for IPS?

In 2016, 1920x1080, 8ms is O B S O L E T E, the minute you bought it.

hmm 8ms uuurgs... seems like my almost 3 year old Asus VG248QE with lightboost is still waaay better than this piece of poop 😉

lol.. well since no one here can think of how to make it any better...your welcome to go pay $700 for the IPS 4ms or the TN color shifting 1ms. Maybe its just me but .. I don't remember VA coming out with 144 10 years ago.. 5 years ago.. so what year are some of you talking about?
