NeoGaf is reporting that 8gb vram is minimum. It seems Nvidia and Amd have given resellers the go ahead to start taking preoders on the new 8gb card also.

Here we ****ing go again, what the hell is wrong with game developers these days and what the hell is wrong with AMD and nVidia approving this. Do they really want to squeeze out those few crummy pennies from people who buy 8GB versions???

this year , it seems 780ti serving me , I doubt it can last for another year .... but this time I am not buying anything less than 12gb ...since consoles have now 8 gb ....
i think next year we might see 16gb gpus

Super Stoked! JCII was amazing for it's time, less buggy than the new Thief...The mods are mostly buggy I have to say but the Multiplayer MOD is fun as hell! Looking forward for this game even with truly dumb system reqs. Cheers

I have to love that half the comments in here mention a piss take post, well played (.)(.) even if it does annoy me that people take everything at face value.
I personally love the Just Cause games, other than GTA it's the only other game of this type that i like as Saints Row is horrible and Sleeping Dogs gets less fun the more you play it.
The graphics look pretty crap based on the shots, but you have to lower you standards with sandbox games.
Hopefully there will be a demo like the last one, but these days probably not 🙁

I would like to inform the ill informed that my post about needing 8gb vram was joke. There are no official specs avaible at thi s time from what ive googled.
I was mearly poking fun at all the crappy ports of late.
You all need to up your standards and demand proper quality control from developers. Stop pre-ordering, stop accepting this bollocks of vram requirements as they're simply unless ports with no effort put into them to make use of our preferred platform and no, just because it has hairworks or tressFX or PhysX or tessellation does not mean that time and effort had been made to ensure a decent pc version. Those things right there are called smoke and mirrors.
Thanks for noticing, same to anyone else. This is the problem on pc atm. Too many people are either new to the pc platform and arent as well informed as the rest of us, or people need to stop buying this crap from developers.
No, just treat it to some properly optimized games.
Final note: Just Cause is awesome.
