First cpu to run 6Ghz out of the Box πŸ™‚ , nice. This 13900KS just went on sale today but beware of bad sales practices by newegg as they are charging $30US Dollar's over the real msrp price wish is $699US Dollars making it $730US Dollars. Newegg has been on my black list for a while now , huge greed and bad business practices all the time + scalper's and scammer's on third party seller's. It seems more online retailers are charging a lot more for this cpu over the msrp πŸ™ , Now it appears for sale ay B&H store at a huge mark up of $750US dollars , yes that's $50US Dollars over msrp. This is a very bad situation πŸ˜• when online retailers become the salpers themselfs.

A 13900KS-3D would be nutty -- probably couldn't clock quite as high but games seem to love that extra cache especially for the 1% lows going off the HUB tests I saw for 5800X3D awhile back.

Intel is afraid of zen4 x3d needs to react fast.

For real though, these GPU prices hurt but at least the CPU market is more competitive right now.

also considering both AMD and Intel's past history with super mega binned like the old Extreme and FX models.

wtf from 5Β°C to 97Β°C?

Hardware Unboxed already has a review up. Spoiler alert: it's basically 1-2 fps faster in games than the K for a massive increase in power and heat output. And price, of course. Chances are that the X3D procs are going to wipe the floor with it.

is 30 dollar over msrp, for a 700 dollar cpu for rich people, a real deal here?

I had a 980 that I had clocked at 4.4 for near 10 years. Have it to my sister then she killed it because she never cleaned it out and the AIO made a literal blanket out of dust on the radiator.

Sandy Bridge price/performance was like a wet dream come true. good gaming processors are actually cheap now compared to the Core 2 quad days...

Not particularly impressed tbh unless you run a TEC in your daily just get a normal 13900K as it's not worth the extra cost Or better yet, wait for zen4 x3d for a gaming build

In retrospect an i7 920 would have done as well gaming wise on the time you kept it , except if you do render workloads or video etc .... In this case that thing saved you days in total!

This part is so stupid and pointless...

Out of the "Box"? Where is TVB hardware inside the Box? 6Ghz CPU + TVB = approx. €1.500,00 = stupid nonsense weΒ΄re getting close to GPU price range edit: btw, + €1.000,00 mainboard + €2.000,00 GPU +.... +.... +.... +.... +.... = 10x or even 20 times xbox ?
