I wonder what we're looking at here anyway... 2 to 3% net performance gains? Maybe a little bit better IMC compatability? I'm honestly not sure if waiting for this would make much sense for me personally, putting the whole thing under water, I'd probably get the same performance with a current RL CPU... As for the needed BIOS update to run on a Z790 board, will it be as much a pita as upgrading AMD's mainboards without USB BIOS flash? How does this work on Intel boards, any experiences here? And btw, better binning just means that they better know what chips to cut to which model, nobody should expect any improvement for the consumer (OC), I guess.
